How It Started
In November 2020, two friends, Ryan and Daryl, founded Buíoch during the pandemic.
Ryan, a chef who had lost his job, began crafting chocolates and other treats at home to share with family and friends.
When Daryl, working in corporate sales, received one of Ryan's chocolate boxes, he saw a business opportunity.
Buíoch was born from their shared passion for creating sweet treats and the desire to help people express gratitude through delicious gifts.
The name Buíoch, pronounced Bwee-Ock, is the Irish word for gratitude, perfectly capturing the spirit of their venture.
Finding Our Inspiration
We learned a lot in our first year—winter markets are cold, and boiling jams are hot!
Most importantly, we discovered that people absolutely loved our chocolates.
We decided to focus solely on creating delectable chocolate treats for everyone to enjoy.
We pride ourselves on using only the finest Belgian chocolate as our base, complemented by a variety of fun and unique flavors.
