ABOUT BUÍOCH
Some businesses begin with a plan. Buíoch began with a lifelong love of chocolate, family memories and a simple idea: that something delicious can bring people closer together.
Our story starts long before our first chocolate bar.

CHOCOLATE RUNS IN THE FAMILY
Growing up, Daryl was surrounded by chocolate. His Grandad and Uncle worked at Cadbury’s, making chocolate a part of family life across three generations.
Some of his favourite childhood memories are Fridays at his Nana’s house, when his Grandad arrived home with sacks of broken chocolates: Twirls, Curly Wurlys, Moro bars and more. It’s hard to imagine a sweeter start.

HOW BUÍOCH BEGAN
During Covid, a plan to start a business with a friend grew into an Irish food hamper service. Buíoch was founded to help people say thank you and stay connected at a time when being together wasn’t always possible.
That idea of gratitude is still part of who we are, even as our focus has shifted to creating chocolate worth sharing.

BUÍOCH TODAY
What began with hampers has grown into an artisan chocolate business with its own chocolate factory in Naas, Co. Kildare.
Today we make indulgent chocolate treats and branded gifts, bringing bold flavours and thoughtful presentation to everyday moments and special occasions.

OUR PHILOSOPHY
We believe in generous, satisfying chocolate, paired with a handful of ingredients chosen for the flavour and texture they bring.
From a crunchy honeycomb hex to a filled chocolate bar, the idea is simple: make chocolate we genuinely love to eat, and hope you’ll love it too.

A LITTLE SOMETHING SWEET
